NYC Meet-Up

A big Thank You to everyone who attended the NYC meet-ups. I will admit I was extremely nervous hosting in a city that was not my own. I would have been satisfied if 10 people showed up. In the end between the two locations 50 came out in support. It truly made me feel all the hard work I’ve been putting in paid off. Much thanks to The Polynesian & Holiday Cocktail Lounge for hosting us. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for Ladies Who Tiki !

Michelle Perez is the Founder and Creative Director of Ladies Who Tiki. Michelle created the brand in 2018 because she realized that there weren’t many groups dedicated to the inclusion and acceptance of women working in and enjoying the world of Tiki. She has hosted numerous tiki events across the US, virtual meet ups and often hosts gatherings in her home bar, the Hollywood Lanai. She created this brand to bring people together, to create a place of fun, and a place to meet others who are just as excited about tropical cocktails, decor, fashion, art, music, and everything that comprises what the Tiki world is about.
